These machines designed for carrying out compressive strength on cement concrete cubes, cylinders and likewise materials are generally manufactured in following capacities:

The sizes of the specimens that can be tested on the machines are
Cubes of up to 10cms. 15cms. 20cms. 20cms.
Cylinders of up to 7.5x15cm. 15x30cm. 15x30cm. 15x30cm.
Compression Test Frame: is of two pillars with cross heads (if not specified otherwise)
Test Platens:(Specimen supports) are of hardened and ground steel finished to the accuracies as specified in IS: 516/1959. The lower platen is marked for centering the specimen accurately. The spherical arrangement is fitted to one of the two platens for correctly positioning the specimen.
Pressure Gauge:for load measurement, is mounded on the machine, which is connected to the pressure cell (cylinder) by steel tubing. For recording the load at which specimen fractures, a legless maximum pointer is also fitted to the 'live' pointer of the gauge. The gauges are calibrated in the least possible count corresponding to the capacity of the machine.

Hand Pumping Unit:A double plunger pump actuates the ram. Which renders smooth loading free of shock to the specimen. The pump together with an oil reservoir is housed besides the ram. This housing also has a pressure release value for releasing the pressure after test.
Electric Pumping Unit:Electric cum hand operated pumping unit, housed in a sturdy steel console with beautiful paneling, is designed for operation on 400/440 volts 50 cycles' a.c main motor of required H.P. It has value for fast and slow rate of loading beside the relief value and over-flow the machine in operation. It has also connections to the Micro-Switches fitted to the gauges for tripping the motor off in the event of over-loading of the machines.
Gap adjustment:the help of lead screw and spacers supplied with machines can do it.
Range:testing equipment for soil cement, concrete aggregate and other materials are borne on our manufacture schedules.
